The first time I ever heard the word powerlifting, I was straight on Google.
Scrolling local comps, stalking results, sizing myself up.
I remember looking at the totals and realizing… with zero experience, I wouldn’t even come last. "I could do this"...
But then reality hit me like a ton of bricks:
I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. I didn’t know what it took to get “comp ready.”
And so, I waited...
I waited for the mythical day I’d feel prepared.
I delayed it another 8 months.
Eight whole months of refreshing comp calendars, stalking lifters on Instagram, thinking... someday....
I even did a mock meet first, because I convinced myself I wasn’t ready for the “real thing.” (Best decision I’ve ever made, by the way.)
And when I finally did?
When I finally stepped onto that platform?
The fear fell away.
The bar was in my hands.
And it was the most freeing, exhilarating, holy-shit-I-can’t-believe-I-did-this moment of my life.

I still remember standing over the bar for my 140kg deadlift — chalk everywhere, talc on my legs for the first time in my life...
Hands shaking, heart pounding so hard I could hear it. The room felt silent and loud all at once.
The second it left the floor, I knew. It flew.
And before the 'down' command even left the judge’s mouth, I was already screaming.
I jumped up like I’d just scored the winning goal of the World Cup, nearly taking out the spotters because I couldn’t hold the excitement in.

“I can’t compete until I squat X or total Y.”
“What if I bomb out? What if I embarrass myself?”

In the final week, you’ll run through a full mock meet in your own gym. That means structured warmups, 3 attempts each on squat, bench, and deadlift, and practicing the full flow of a real meet. You’ll record and submit your lifts, and then we’ll celebrate it together inside the group — so even though you’re lifting in your own gym, you’ll feel part of something bigger. It’s the most fun way to put everything into action without the pressure of a federation stage!!
This is going to be INCREDIBLE!! Knowing that every single woman inside this challenge is in your corner and in this experience with you.

You will have support through weekly video analysis and hotseat coaching feedback from Beth. This isn’t just a program you follow on your own — it’s guided, supported, and designed to help you rise. You don’t need years of lifting experience or the “perfect” squat, bench, and deadlift technique to join. In fact — this is where you’ll learn it ALL. You’ll be surrounded by women stepping into their first comp experience, with the exact guidance, structure, and support to help you expand faster than you ever could alone.
If you’ve been lifting for a while but never dared to piece it all together… this is your space. Because when you feel called to step into a room that feels a little ahead of you, that’s exactly where you’ll grow the most.
Yes! This challenge was built with women in mind — not just the training, but the community vibe too, so to protect the integrity of this space, this is a female-only challenge.
Nope! You don’t need a singlet or federation gear — just your usual training clothes and whatever equipment you already use (belt, sleeves, shoes, etc.). If you want to try out comp kit, it’s a great way to practice before a real meet, but it’s 100% optional.
No stress!! You’ll still have access to the program and resources to follow at your own pace. If your schedule doesn’t line up perfectly, you can always run your comp day a little later — and you’ll still know exactly how to do it.
Whilst this is undoubtedly going to be the BEST and most unique part of this experience, if you are unable to 'compete' on our set virtual day, we'll all still be in your corner when you are able to, cheering you on and ready to push you to wholeeee new heights❤️🔥

Over the 12 weeks, I take you through the same three distinct phases every competitive lifter goes through: building strength, peaking, and tapering so that you can express all that strength on comp day. You’re not just training for fun (but trust me, you're going to have the time of your life😏) — you’re training with a clear plan that’s laid out start to finish, so you know exactly why you’re doing what you’re doing each week.
So, yes, you’ll build strength across your squat, bench, and deadlift, because this isn’t just a “let’s throw weight on the bar and hope for the best” program. It’s a structured 12-week roadmap that blends progressive overload, smart programming, and recovery so that you’re building momentum week by week.
But it’s not only about hitting heavier numbers — it’s about stepping into the version of you who knows how to handle those numbers with confidence. The comp experience is simply the stage where everything you’ve built comes together.
So yes, expect to finish stronger. But also expect to finish prouder, more resilient, and with the kind of belief in yourself that keeps you progressing long after this first meet is done.
The comp experience isn’t a distraction from strength — it’s the moment that strength gets brought to life. By the time you step onto that platform, you won’t just feel stronger… you’ll be able to prove it to yourself in real time.
Of course! You’re more than welcome to join, but it’s important to know that this is specifically designed for lifters doing their first comp. That means the resources, the guidance, and the support are all tailored to helping someone who’s never been on the platform before feel fully prepared and confident.
That said — if you’ve competed already, this can still be an incredible opportunity to sharpen your skills, experience the comp process without the pressure of a federation meet, and work on those small details that make you a better competitor. Think of it as a chance to strip it back, refine, and step into your next level of lifting with even MORE clarity and confidence.
Whether it’s your first time or your second (or third), this is about helping you step up as the lifter you know you’re capable of being.

Not if you don't want to!
On our competition day you won't need to enter into a specific weight class. The whole idea is to take all of the pressure away from the experience.
That being said, if this is something you personally want to focus on, so that you can get the truly immersive experience of a powerlifting competition, you absolutely can.
When you onboard into the challenge, you will have the option to choose whether or not you would like to have nutrition targets set for you.
Whilst you won't have direct 1:1 nutrition coaching, this can act as a helpful guide for how much you need to be eating in order to truly skyrocket your strength in this challenge and your competition day at the end of the 12 weeks! But it is entirely your choice if this is something you decide you would like to have included.
You will also gain access to exclusive trainings and resources to help you refine your own nutrition so that you can support your performance and maximise this challenge!
